Polaracer is the video game that I’ve developed during my last semester at Campus Ubisoft. It consists of a high speed futuristic race where vehicles are polarized and can use magnetic forces to attract or repel each other.
My main duties during this project were:
- Implementation of a graphics engine using DirectX and HLSL
- Scene management through an octree
- Creation of a circuit editor
- Gameplay
- Level of detail
- Implementation of a sound engine using FMOD Ex
- Level edition (5 different circuits)
Polaracer was developed in three months (while attending classes, writting exams and other homework) by VYNKÖ9. Team members are:
Marçal Argudo Grau
